別府鉄輪の魅力を堪能
ちくぜんや山荘の周辺には、日本一の湧出量と屈指の泉質を誇る別府八湯の一つ「鉄輪温泉郷」がございます。「別府地獄めぐり」が観光名所として有名です。地域の特産品である地鶏、冷麺、麦焼酎など多彩なグルメが楽しめる魅力あるお店が徒歩圏内にも点在しています。温泉の蒸気で食材を蒸すことで自然な塩味と旨みを楽しめる「地獄蒸し」は特におすすめです。ちくぜんや山荘をベースに地域の魅力を存分に堪能されてください。

近年は湯治シェアハウス、ゲストハウスとして、また多拠点居住プラットフォームのサービス「アドレス（ADDress）」を通じて、外から訪れる人々と地域社会を繋ぐ新たな共同体、ソーシャル・キャピタルのあり方を模索しています。持続可能な暮らしを体現するために。地域の人々、歴史、文化との調和を大切にしながらも、新しい価値観や時代の変化を歓迎し、次の世代へと繋げていくことを使命としています。

ちくぜんや山荘は、大分県別府市の鉄輪温泉の住宅街に佇む湯治シェアハウスです。五十年以上にわたり、自然との調和を大切にしながら訪れる人々の心身を癒してきました。ここは日常の喧騒から離れ、静かな時間を過ごすのに最適な空間。豊かな自然に囲まれた環境で源泉かけ流しの温泉に浸り、縁側から望む別府の街並みを眺めながら、ただ佇む。「何もしない」時間、「なんでもない」時間を味わい、心からの安らぎを感じて頂ければ幸いです。
Enjoy the charm of Beppu Kannawa
The area surrounding Chikuzenya Sanso is home to Kannawa Onsen, one of Beppu's eight hot springs, which boasts the largest amount of hot springs in Japan and the best quality of hot springs in the country. Visitors can enjoy a "Jigoku Meguri" (hell tour) and other activities. There are also a number of attractive restaurants within walking distance where you can enjoy a variety of gourmet foods and ingredients, such as local specialty chicken, cold noodles, sake, and "jigoku-mushi" (steamed in hell) using fresh vegetables. You can fully enjoy the charms of the region based on Chikuzenya Sanso.

To embody sustainable living. Chikuzenya Sanso is a hot-spring cure share house located in the residential area of Kannawa Onsen in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture. For over fifty years, we have been healing the minds and bodies of visitors while placing importance on harmony with nature. This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and spend some quiet time. Soak in a hot spring bath with its own hot spring source, and stand at the edge of the property while admiring the scenery in an environment surrounded by rich nature. We hope you will enjoy the luxury of doing nothing and feel the peace of mind that comes from the bottom of your heart.
